My latest interest….
May 30th April, Monday
I keep going to the Shipwreck beads store and buying a lot. I get the jewelry done in India, but few items I assemble myself to make a necklace. My DH suggested to go for class which I really wished, but didn’t ask him. That’s it, he said it. So I went for the “Beading Basics” Class. The Instructor Claudia Cornish was so talented and explained the basics in simple terms. I made a Pair of Earrings, a Necklace & a Bracelet in the class. So glad to learn something new and on top of it I become more interested in beading. Thanks to my DH!. What next? J I bought the basic tools & some beads needed for jewelry making. Almost 120 bucks for Class + tools. Little expensive thoughL. That’s how the long weekend ended up beautifully. Highlight of the week is DH was babysitting DD for solid 5 hours JJJ

I was doing shopping in JO-AN after I got to know about jewelry making and all of a sudden a lady came by and said there is a store called "Unique Beads" in Mud Bay hill. I googled the address and I found the store after a long drive, because of my poor road sense and directions :-(. The store was about to close when I reached. The old guy was talking about the store and they are offering free classes next day (Saturday) on Beading & Jewelry making. Vowwwww I jumped up and down. I decided not to miss the class. Next day I went to the store and the lady at the register asked me ‘Do you remember me?’ without even looking at her properly I said ‘Sorry I donno’. Then she said, “I was the one referred you to this shop and this is my parents store”. I was really surprised that world is sooooooo small. She was the instructor for the Wire Wrapping class and that day went very interesting with new learning. My friend Nithya also joined the class and so it was even more fun and enjoyable. I have to start my first project sooon.
